ELIZABETHTOWN – Three Emereau Bladen pitchers combined to pitch a no-hitter, and the Aviators pounded out 12 hits in a 21-6 non-conference middle school baseball victory over Tar Heel Friday at County Park.

Starting pitcher Tyler Eason worked 3 innings on the mound for the Aviators and allowed 2 runs on 4 walks and a hit batter while striking out 6. Eli Woodell relieved in the 4th inning and allowed 3 runs on 3 walks. Cade Rogers pitched the final inning and gave up a run on 4 walks while striking out 2.

The Panthers scored 1st as Keon Whittington, Seth Faircloth, and Dylan McLaurin drew walks, and Cameron Thompson was hit by a pitch. Whittington scored the run.

Cooper Long led off the home 1st with a single, and Eason reached base on an error. Ryker Strickland, Woodell, Stryker Pait and Gunner Lewis drew walks. Grayson Freeeman was hit by a pitch, Long slammed a double, and Eason belted a single. Long, Eason, Strickland, Woodell, Pait, Lewis and Freeman scored runs for a 7-1 Aviator lead.

Gregory O’Neal walked and scored a Panther run in the 2nd inning.

In the Emereau 2nd, Strickland smacked a single, and Rogers, Woodell and Pait drew walks. Lewis, Freeman and Long delivered consecutive singles, and Eason walked. Strickland, Rogers, Woodell, Pait, Lewis and Freeman scored runs as the lead swelled to 13-2.

Walks to Strickland, Woodell, Henry Simmons and Dylan Brisson started the Emereau 3rd inning. Rogers laced a single, and Greylon Robinson reached base on an error. Eason hammered a double, and Jayce Hatcher, Strickland and Rogers cracked consecutive singles – Rogers 2nd hit of the inning.

Strickland scored twice in the 3rd, and Rogers, Woodell, Brisson, Robinson, Eason and Hatcher scored 1 run each as the lead grew to 21-2.

Thompson, Carson Navarro, O’Neal, Jordan King, Whittington and McLaurin drew walks in the Tar Heel 4th inning, and Jayden Bethea was hit by a pitch. Thompson, Navarro, O’Neal and King all scored runs.

Long batted a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored. Strickland finished 2-for-2 with 2 walks and scored 4 runs. Eason batted 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and 2 runs scored. Rogers turned in a 2-for-3 game at the plate with a walk and 2 runs scored.

Lewis singled, walked and scored 2 runs. Freeman singled, was hit by a pitch and scored a run. Woodell walked 3 times and scored 3 runs. Pait walked 3 times and scored 2 runs. Hatcher singled and scored. Brisson walked and scored, and Robinson scored a run.

O’Neal walked twice for the Panthers and scored 2 runs. Whittington walked twice and scored a run. McLaurin also walked twice. Thompson walked, was hit by a pitch and scored a run. Navarro and King drew walks and both of them scored runs. Faircloth walked, and Bethea was hit by a pitch. The Panthers drew 10 walks in the game.

The Aviators, now 7-4, will travel to Christ the Cornerstone Monday. Tar Heel, now 0-8, will host Elizabethtown Monday at County Park.
