Keyshawn Lewis and Trenton Lyons keyed a 26-16 Bladenboro second-half come-back that propelled the Bulldogs to a 36-34 Bladen Five Middle School Conference victory over Elizabethtown at Bladenboro Thursday night.

Lewis topped all scorers with 14 points, and Lyons connected on three of four 3-point shots to lead the Bulldogs third quarter rally. Bladenboro finally took the lead in the fourth period and held on in the final seconds for the victory.

“We really clamped down on defense in the fourth quarter and held them to just 6 points,” said Bladenboro Coach Richie Love.

Bladenboro improved to 3-1 in the Bladen Five, while Elizabethtown is now 2-2 on the season.
