HALLSBORO – Center Chase Williams poured in 17 points Thursday night to lead Bladenboro to a 36-17 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys basketball victory over Hallsboro.

Williams worked the paint for 2 baskets and a free throw in the opening quarter, and Hezekiah Adams tossed in a basket as the Bulldogs edged in front 7-6.

Cade Allen drained a 3-point shot in the second period, and Williams canned 3 free throws and another basket as the Bladenboro lead grew to 15-10.

Adams and Breenan Greene threw in 2 baskets each in the third quarter as the Bulldogs opened up a 24-14 lead.

Williams powered in 3 baskets in the final period, and Adams and Aaron Lewis added baskets. Adams finished with 8 points in the game for Coach Joseph Gore’s Bulldogs.

C. J. Waddell led the Tigers with 8 points, and teammate Jaquise Smith followed with 6 points.
