HARRELLS – Colten Harrell scored 5 of his 9 points in the final period as Harrells Christian edged Emereau Bladen 25-23 Monday night in middle school boys’ basketball action.
Jamari Adams Peterson fired in 2 baskets and 2 free throws to lead the Aviators to a 10-9 halftime lead. Tredon Scott and Jake Gooden also netted 1st half baskets.

Josiah Crumpler, Collin Cole, Harrell and Brayden Frederick tossed in a basket each in the 3rd period as the Crusaders rallied to take a 17-14 lead. Scott and Omar Powell threw in baskets to keep Emereau close.
Peterson buried a 3-ball and tallied 6 of his game-high 12 points in the final quarter. Teammate Debo Lewis dropped in all 3 of his points in the period.
Scott followed Peterson on the Emereau scoring list with 4 points. Crumpler finished with 5 points for Harrells.
The Aviators will return to action on January 4th at Wilmington Christian.
