Jaheim Lesane fired in 10 points to lead Tar Heel’s Panthers to a 45-30 Bladen Five Middle School Conference boys’ basketball victory over visiting East Arcadia Thursday.
Teammates Emonta Smith and Tyre Boykin threw in 9 points each for Tar Heel, and Irvin Hernandez and Johnathan Salvetti added 4 points each.
“We played pretty good,” said Tar Heel Coach Morrisey. “The kids played hard. They are good kids.”
C. Miller topped the East Arcadia scoring with 8 points, and B. Bowen followed with 4 points.
Tar Heel improved to 2-4 in the Bladen Five and will host Bladenboro next Thursday.
