Bladenboro scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat Tar Heel 2-0 Tuesday night in the Bladen Five Middle School Conference soccer finale for both teams.
After a scoreless first half, Bladenboro’s Elijah Crabtree sent a crossing pass to Alex Strange who knocked in the first Bulldog goal. Josh DeLeon fired an insurance goal later in the half for the Bulldogs.
Gary Parker recorded the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.
It was the second straight win for the Bulldogs who finish the season with a 2-4 record. Tar Heel completed play with a 3-3 record.
