ELIZABETHTOWN – Hezekiah Blanks racked up a goal and an assist to lead Bladenboro to a 3-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference victory over Hallsboro Wednesday at County Park.
Blanks booted in a first half goal to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead at halftime. Blanks sent a pass to Jose De Leon who drilled in the second Bladenboro goal after intermission.
Cade Allen knocked in the third Bulldog goal. Gary Parker and Wadeyn Norris combined to record the shutout in goal for Bladenboro.
Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs improved to 4-2 on the season and will play unbeaten Tar Heel Thursday at County Park at 3:45.
