TABOR CITY – Jonah Bryan posted a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Monday to lead Bladenboro to a 5-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Tabor City.

Diego Santos-Hernandez fired in the 1st of his 2 Bulldog goals in the opening half to give Bladenboro the early lead, but Tabor City answered to tie the score 1-1 at halftime.

Bryan took charge in the 2nd half turning a feed from Hernandez into the go-ahead goal for Bladenboro. Moments later Dionel DeLeon sent a pass to Bryan who knocked in his 2nd goal to push the lead to 3-1.

Bryan raced to the net and drilled in an unassisted goal to complete his ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals. Hernandez blasted in a 30-yard shot on a direct kick for his 2nd goal of the game as the lead grew to 5-1.

Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs, now 2-2, will host Nakina Tuesday at 3:45.
