TABOR CITY – Dionel Herdnimo-Deleon fired in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Tuesday to lead Bladenboro’s Bulldogs to an 8-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Tabor City.

Herdnimo-Deleon opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 11th minute. A minute later Herdnimo-Deleon struck again as he turned an assist from Diego Santos-Hernandez into his 2nd goal of the game.

In the 17th minute, Bulldog Sincere McKinley banged in a goal to pad the lead to 3-0. Herdnimo-Deleon completed his ‘Hat Trick’ before halftime capitalizing on another assist from Santos-Hernandez. Santos-Hernandez and Jeremiah Bryan drilled in unassisted goals to push the Bulldog halftime lead to 6-0.

Bladenboro’s Josh Martin knocked in a header off of a Benjamin Diaz assist in the 17th minute of the 2nd half. Diaz closed out the scoring 5 minutes later with an unassisted goal. Brooks Carroll recorded the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.

Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs evened their record at 2-2 with the victory.
