Garrett Masaid fired in a pair of goals to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 4-1 Bladen Five Middle School Conference boys soccer victory over Bladenboro Tuesday night.
Robert McKoy opened the Clarkton scoring with a goal in the second minute of the game. The score remained 1-0 until Masaid drilled in his first goal in the 20th minute of play.
Two minutes before halftime Sam Inscoe sent a corner kick into Masaid who banged it into the goal and stretched the Blue Devil lead to 3-0 at halftime.
In the 18th minute of the second half, Masaid returned the favor with a throw-in that Inscoe turned into the final Clarkton goal.
Five minutes later Jordan Porter cracked the scoring column for Bladenboro with a goal.
The Blue Devils evened their record at 1-1 with the win.
