WHITEVILLE – Malcolm Bolden fired in two second-half goals to lead Elizabethtown to a 4-1 victory over Whiteville Central in Waccamaw Middle School Conference action Tuesday night.
“Our first goal was scored after we pressured and forced a Central own goal,” said Elizabethtown Coach Jay Raynor. That own goal gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Chace Butler knocked in an Elizabethtown goal in the second-half. Jamie Delgado contributed two assists to the Cougar attack, and Zac Metz picked up the other assist for the winners.
Fernando Rebollar was credited with 4 saves in goal for Elizabethtown. The Cougars improved to 2-0 on the season.
