ELIZABETHTOWN – Ishaq Algozy lit up the scoreboard with a ‘Hat Trick’ plus one of 4 goals as Elizabethtown rolled to an 8-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over East Columbus Monday.

Algozy fired in 3 of the first 4 Cougar goals as Elizabethtown built a 5-0 halftime lead. Trey Wilson assisted on 1 of the Algozy goals. Andrrio Garcia-Nunez knocked in the 2nd Cougar goal, and DeVance Tatum closed out the Cougar scoring before halftime by banging in a goal from short range off of a John Monroe assist.

Damian Sanchez drilled in a goal to begin the 2nd half for the Cougars, and Algozy racked up his 4th goal of the game. Isaiah Lloyd smacked in the final Elizabethtown goal. Fox Sutton recorded the shutout in goal for the Cougars.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Cougars improved to 2-1 on the season and will travel to Whiteville Central Tuesday.
