HALLSBORO – Jordan Underwood scored 2 goals Tuesday to lead Tar Heel to a 5-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys soccer victory over Hallsboro.
Underwood knocked in his first goal with 15 minutes left in the first half. Three minutes later William Verdugo-Gomez banged in another Panther goal that pushed the lead to 2-0 at halftime.
Underwood fired in his second goal with 23 minutes left to play that grew the Tar Heel lead to 3-0. Sixteen minutes later Alexander Garza drilled in a goal that padded the Panther lead to 4-0.
Christopher Labra finished off the Panther scoring with a goal with two minutes left on the clock.
Coach Ray Schmucker’s Panthers improved to 3-0 with the victory.
