BLADENBORO – Bladenboro defeated Tar Heel 34-14 Monday night in Bladen Five Middle School Conference football action.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 14-0 lead before Jadacus Register scored the first Tar Heel touchdown that trimmed the lead to 14-6. Bladenboro tacked on another score to stretch the lead to 20-6 at halftime.
Kia Belle ran for the other Panther touchdown, and Register tacked on the 2-point conversion.

Bladenboro is now 1-1 in the Bladen Five and Tar Heel is 0-2. Thursday night Tar Heel will host unbeaten Elizabethtown, while Bladenboro will entertain Clarkton School of Discovery.
