TAR HEEL – Messyah Whitted scored 2 touchdowns Tuesday to lead Tar Heel to a 26-22 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over Bladenboro.

Whitted also ran for a 2-point conversion. Quarterback Travis Baxley ran for a Panther touchdown, and teammate Stefan Jessup also scored a touchdown. Cedric Candelera recovered a Bulldog fumble for the winners.
Jemiah Ross and Hezekiah Adams scored touchdowns for Bladenboro.
Both Tar Heel and Bladenboro own 1-2 records.
