WHITEVILLE – Whiteville Central built a 22-6 halftime lead en route to a 28-6 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over Bladenboro in a game that was delayed over 30 minutes by lightning in the second half.
Gary Parker broke free down the left side and raced 70 yards for a Bulldog touchdown and an early 6-0 lead.
The Wolfpack rallied with a pair of long touchdown runs to take a 14-6 lead then added another touchdown in the final minute of the half.
The Bulldogs will play Tabor City Tuesday.
