BLADENBORO – Cheyenne Reinhart and Allison Hickman combined for 21 points Tuesday to lead Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs to a 28-6 non-conference middle school girls’ basketball victory over Elizabethtown.

Reinhart led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points, and Hickman followed with 9 points. Harley Jordan threw in 4 points for Bladenboro, and Amiya McCarty netted 3 points. Mariah Ward scored the only field goal of the game for the Lady Cougars.

Hickman tossed in 2 baskets and a free throw, and Reinhart added a basket as the Lady Bulldogs built an early 7-1 lead. Reinhart buried a 3-point shot and another basket in the 2nd quarter, and Jordan flipped in a basket as the Bladenboro lead grew to 14-5.

Ward pumped in her basket, and Sana’a Singletary, Ellen Battle and Aaliyah Monroe sank free throws for Elizabethtown. Teammate Harmony Richardson connected on a 3rd quarter free throw.

Reinhart bombed in her 2nd 3-point shot and another basket in the 3rd period for Bladenboro. McCarty cashed in a trio of free throws as the lead grew to 22-6. Hickman flipped in a pair of baskets in the final quarter, and Jordan swished a pair of free throws.

Coach Otis Evans’ Lady Bulldogs, now 4-0, will travel to Nakina Thursday, while Elizabethtown, now 2-2, will host Whiteville Central Thursday.
