LAKE WACCAMAW –East Columbus completed an undefeated season with a 38-8 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ basketball victory over Tar Heel Thursday.
The Hawks completed an undefeated season and won the Waccamaw’s AA League girls championship. Milana Graham led the East Columbus scoring with 11 points. Teammate Alaya White added 10 points, and Malia Graham finished with 9 points.
Leidi Zuniga sank a pair of 1st period baskets and netted a free throw in the 2nd quarter to lead the Tar Heel scoring with 5 points. Teammate Jahyrah Priest popped in a basket and a free throw in the final period.
