ELIZABETHTOWN –Bladenboro rallied with 3 second-half goals to claim a 3-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer victory over Elizabethtown Monday at County Park.
The Lady Cougars led 1-0 at halftime, before Kaden Thurman knocked in a crossing pass from Lainey Autry to tie the game. Autry fired in an unassisted goal to give the Lady Bulldogs a 2-1 lead. Rylee Chadwick capitalized on a throw-in from Thurman to deliver an insurance goal for Bladenboro.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-2 with the victory and will play Whiteville Central Wednesday at 5:15. Elizabethtown will play at Williams Wednesday at 4 p.m.
