ELIZABETHTOWN –Molly Evans fired in the deciding goal Monday to lift Clarkton School of Discovery to a 2-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer victory over Williams at County Park.
Sophia Masaid banged in a header off of a Mauri Flores corner kick in the fifth minute of play to give Clarkton a 1-0 lead.
Williams knocked in a penalty kick early in the second half to tie the game 1-1. Eleven minutes later Evans delivered an unassisted goal that proved to be the game-winner.
Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Blue Devils improved to 4-0-1 with the victory and will play Hallsboro Wednesday at 4 p.m.
