ELIZABETHTOWN – Molly Evans filled up the nets with a ‘Hat Trick plus one” of four goals Thursday to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 7-2 nonconference girls soccer victory over Emereau Charter.
Teammate Addie Bowen fired in two goals and dished out two assists. Bowen sent a pass to Evans who tallied the first goal in the seventh minute of play. Nine minutes later Bowen booted in an unassisted goal for a 2-0 lead.
An Emereau handball resulted in a penalty kick that Evans blasted in for a 3-0 lead. Three minutes later Evans knocked in another goal. Two minutes later Bowen found the back of the net with a goal that boosted the lead to 5-0.
Six minutes later ShaNidra Richardson turned an Emma McDuffie assist into a goal as the lead grew to 6-0.
Leah McGill put Emereau on the scoreboard a minute later with a goal. Six minutes later McGill drilled in her second goal of the game and sliced the lead to 6-2.
Evans finished off the day’s scoring three minutes later with her fourth goal of the game.
Kenzi Storms went the distance in goal for Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Blue Devils, who improved to 4-0.Share:
