BLADENBORO – Clarkton School of Discovery outscored Bladenboro 3-2 in the penalty kick shootout after the two teams battled to a scoreless tie in regulation play Thursday in their Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer game.

Cabria Baldwin, Jolene Merritt, and Ellie Kinlaw were the first 3 Lady Blue Devil shooters in the shootout, and all 3 of them knocked in their shots to give Clarkton the winning margin.
Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Blue Devils improved to 2-0 on the season and will entertain Williams Township Tuesday. Bladenboro, now 1-1, will travel to Tabor City Tuesday.
