Middle School Girls Soccer: Hallsboro 3, Clarkton School of Discovery 2

ELIZABETHTOWN – Hallsboro edged Clarkton School of Discovery 3-2 on Monday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer action.

It was the first loss for the Clarkton girls in four years. The Lady Blue Devils are now 4-1 on the season and will travel to Tabor City on Wednesday.

Molly Evans hammered in a penalty kick to give Clarkton an early 1-0 lead. Hallsboro rallied with a pair of goals late in the first half.

Another Lady Tiger goal pushed their lead to 3-1, before Addie Bowen rallied the Lady Blue Devils to within 3-2 with a goal.

Reese Hester went the distance in goal for the Lady Blue Devils in place of Kenzi Storms, who was sidelined with an injury.
