TABOR CITY – Tabor City defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 4-2 Monday in the Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer finale for the Lady Blue Devils.
Ellie Kinlaw and Brenna Hester fired in 1st half goals for Clarkton. “Tabor City’s offense was motivated and got to the ball quicker than our defense today,” said Lady Blue Devil Coach Laura Hall.
The Lady Blue Devils finished the season with a 3-4 record and were the only team to defeat AA champion Tar Heel.
