HALLSBORO – Tar Heel remained undefeated in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer action with a 3-0 victory over East Columbus Wednesday.
Karen Rodriquez opened the scoring with a goal for Tar Heel, and Liuvia Sanchez banged in the next Lady Panther goal to push the visitors into a 2-0 halftime lead.
Oasis De La Cruz Labra drilled in a 2nd half goal for Tar Heel. It was the 3rd straight shutout for Lady Panther goalie Jamaiya Ballard and the Lady Panther defense.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Lady Panthers, now 4-0, will travel to Elizabethtown Thursday.
