TAR HEEL – Whiteville Central edged Tar Heel 2-1 Monday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer action.
Oasis de la Cruz Labra fired in the Tar Heel goal. The 2 goals that Central scored were the 1st 2 goals that the Lady Panther defense have allowed this season.
Tar Heel, now 4-1, still leads the Waccamaw’s AA Division, while the Lady Hornets improved to 2-2. The Lady Panthers will host Elizabethtown Thursday.
