BLADENBORO – Williams Township edged Bladenboro 3-2 in the penalty kick shootout after the 2 teams battled to a 1-1 tie in regulation play in their Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer game Wednesday.
Bladenboro’s Marly Crabtree knocked in the game’s 1st goal off of an assist from Natalie Sykes on an indirect kick in the box. Williams tied the game on a penalty kick in the box. The game was tied 1-1 at halftime.
The Lady Bulldogs, now 2-2, will host Elizabethtown Thursday.
