WHITEVILLE – Williams Township rallied from a 2-goal deficit to send their Waccamaw Middle School Conference game with Bladenboro into a penalty kick shootout Monday then edged the Lady Bulldogs 1-0 in the shootout.
Addison Wilcox drilled in a goal from 25 yards out for the 1st Bladenboro goal. The two teams were tied 1-1 at halftime.
Natalie Sykes fired in a pair of 2nd half goals that put the Lady Bulldogs ahead 3-1. A handball led to a Williams goal on a penalty kick, then the Lady Aggies tied the game with a goal in the final minute.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Nakina Thursday at 4 p.m.
