Today’s (Dec. 15) soccer game scheduled between Tar Heel Middle School and Elizabethtown Middle School has been cancelled due to the field at County Park being saturated from recent rain. No announcement at this time as to a makeup date for Tar Heel vs. Elizabethtown.
The Clarkton School of Discovery vs. Bladenboro Middle game that was scheduled for yesterday was cancelled for the same reason. Bladenboro Coach Steve Thurman said there are no plans to make it up since the outcome will not affect the final standings.
