Tar Heel scored a pair of second-half goals to seal a 3-0 Bladen Five Middle School Conference season-opening soccer victory over Bladenboro Thursday at County Park.
Brandon Labra fired in all 3 Panther goals – one in the first half and two more in the second half.
“Our defense did well keeping attackers to the outside,” said Tar Heel Coach Christopher Wagoner. “Joey Ferretiz played a sound game in goal. I was impressed with our hustle. Every player had a role in the win.”
