HALLSBORO – East Columbus scored 11 1st inning runs and defeated Elizabethtown 18-2 Tuesday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference softball action. The Lady Hawks won the Waccamaw ‘AA’ Conference championship with an 8-0 record.
Zariyah walked and scored an Elizabethtown run in the top of the 1st inning. Sana’a Singletary was hit by a pitch and scored the other Lady Cougar run in the 2nd inning. Nyasia Banks drew 2 walks for Elizabethtown. Harmony Richardson, Gabbi and Calleigh also reached base on walks.
It was the final game of the season for Elizabethtown.
