NAKINA – Nakina defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 12-0 Tuesday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference softball action.
The Lady Blue Devils threatened in the 2nd inning when Tyliah Freeman singled, and Ellie Kinlaw hammered a double to center field. However Freeman was retired on the bases and another out ended the inning.
Zoie Durden reached base twice for the Lady Blue Devils, now 1-6 in league play. Clarkton will travel to Bladenboro Thursday.
