CLARKTON – Clarkton School of Discovery swept a pair of Waccamaw Middle School Conference volleyball matches from Nakina and Whiteville Central Thursday night.
In the opening match of the day, the Lady Blue Devils defeated Nakina 2-0 by set scores of 25-23 and 25-18. Nakina bounced back to defeat Tar Heel 2-0, and Whiteville Central won the third match of the night 2-0 over Tar Heel.
The Lady Blue Devils then completed their perfect night with a 2-0 victory over Central by set scores of 25-18 and 28-26.
“I am mighty proud of my girls,” said Clarkton Coach Chris Calliahan.
