HALLSBORO – Clarkton’s School of Discovery Lady Blue Devils swept a pair of Waccamaw Middle School Conference volleyball matches Thursday over Acme-Delco and Hallsboro.
Clarkton defeated Acme-Delco 2-0 by set scores of 25-12 and 25-19. Hallsboro edged the Lady Blue Devils 26-24 in their opening set, but Clarkton rallied to win the next 2 sets 25-20 and 15-9.
Coach Chris Callihan’s Lady Blue Devils improved to 9-3 on the season and will travel to Tabor City on Monday.
