ELIZABETHTOWN – Elizabethtown swept a pair of Waccamaw Middle School Conference volleyball matches Thursday over Tar Heel and West Columbus.
The Lady Eagles defeated Tar Heel 2-0 in the opening match of the day by set scores of 25-21 and 25-20. In their 2nd match the Lady Cougars swept West Columbus 2-0 by set scores of 25-2 and 25-18.

Tar Heel lost their other match of the day to Whiteville Central 2-0, and Central also beat West Columbus 2-0.
Coach Jessica Eason’s Lady Cougars are 2-0 on the season. Tar Heel now has a 1-3 record.
