NAKINA – Clarkton School of Discovery and Bladenboro Middle will compete in the 2018 Nakina Invitational Volleyball Tournament that begins Monday at Nakina Middle School.
The Lady Blue Devils are seeded third in the tournament and will play at 5:30 Monday against No. 8 seed Hallsboro. The Clarkton/Hallsboro winner will play Tuesday at 4:45 against the winner of Monday’s match between No. 2 seed Whiteville Central and No. 9 seed Evergreen.
No. 7 seed Bladenboro will play No. 4 seed Tabor City at 4:45 Monday. The Bladenboro/Tabor City winner will play Tuesday at 4 p.m. against the winner of Monday’s match between No. 5 seed Nakina and No. 6 seed Acme-Delco.
Monday’s opening match at 3:15 will pair top-seeded Williams against No. 10 seed Cerro Gordo.
The tournament will continue through Wednesday with the championship match scheduled for 4:45 Wednesday.
