State Superintendent Mo Green is building a comprehensive strategic plan for North Carolina public schools, and he values your input! Together with his team at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Superintendent Green is hosting “Mo Wants to Know” listening and learning sessions with community stakeholders statewide. Thursday, March 27th, from 6:00 – 7:30pm EDT, at Westover High School, 277 Bonanza Drive Fayetteville, NC 28303.

All parents, students, educators, school and district staff, public officials and other community members are invited to attend the free, public events that will be held in each of the state’s eight regions.

Your input will play a crucial role in helping us build a comprehensive strategic plan for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and the State Board of Education, with clear goals, initiatives and accountability measures aimed at making our public schools the best in the nation.

Listening and Learning Session

We have limited time together, so we are grateful for your presence, attention, and insight for the duration of the event. For your consideration in advance, the agenda will include the following questions for you:
1. What should we celebrate and continue in NC public schools?
2. What are the challenges and potential solutions for NC public schools?
3. What is your big idea for NC public schools?
4. What are the actions that you/your organization are committed to do to enhance NC public schools?
