A moment of silence was held to honor the memory of the late William D. Neil and the late William Butler, at the Bladen County Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017. Both men were former Commissioners of Bladen County, NC.
Neil served as Bladen County Commissioner from 1994 until 2010 and Butler severed as a County Commissioner from 1974 until 1978.
“I wanted to do a moment of silence for these two gentlemen for what they did for this county,” Charles Ray Peterson announced. Rev. Larry Hayes followed the silence with a prayer.
