The Mother County Genealogical Society (MCGS) meeting is Saturday, June 10th, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. The meeting will be downstairs in the Bladenboro Historical Society Building, 818 South Main Street, Bladenboro, NC. The scheduled speaker will Linda Smith from Bladenboro, NC. She will give a presentation on the Soles family. Mrs. Smith is also very knowledgeable about many other Bladen area families. The museum rooms, art gallery and Family History room, upstairs will be open from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
