The Friends of the Mountain to the Sea Trail are holding a photo contest. Folks are encouraged to share their photographs they have snapped along the way hiking the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
The Mountains-to-Sea Trail traverses North Carolina from the Great Smokey Mountains to the outer Banks with a section that runs through Bladen County. Winning photographers will receive cash prizes and gift cards for trail gear. First prize is $150 cash, second prize is a $75 gift card from Great Outdoor Provision Company, and third prize is a $50 gift card from GOPC.
Photos can be entered in two categories: View form the Trail and People on the Trail. The photos will be judged by a panel of prominent judges.
