The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has completed an investigation into the distribution of controlled substances in the Tar Heel area of Bladen County. During the investigation, it was determined by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit that the below listed primary defendant was responsible for distributing controlled substances.

This investigation originated from citizen complaints which prompted Narcotics Agents to the area of Tar Heel, NC.  Agents conducted undercover purchases from the primary defendant in this investigation where multiple controlled substances were purchased.

At the conclusion of this investigation, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office served arrest warrants on the defendant.  The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center after a vehicle stop was conducted in the area of 806 Center Road, Bladenboro, NC. Additional defendants were arrested also during this vehicle stop.

The primary defendant is Nashawn C. Patrick, 21, of Tar Heel. He is charged with 1 count of Sell/Deliver Marijuana, 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, 1 count of Conspire to Sell/Deliver Marijuana, 1 count of Simple Possession of Marijuana, 1 Outstanding Order for Arrest for Possession of Marijuana, and additional charges are anticipated. His bond was set at  $11,500.00.

Also charged is Malique T. McDowell, 22, of Clarkton. He is charged with 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substances (MDA/MDMA/Ecstasy), 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances (Cocaine), 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substances (Marijuana), 1 count of Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substances (MDA/MDMA/Ecstasy), 1 count of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substances (Cocaine), 1 count of Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substances (Marijuana), 1 count of Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose of Keeping/Selling Controlled Substances, 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 1 count of Possession of a Concealed Weapon. His bond was set at $61,000.00.

Desmond Riley, 33, of Tar Heel, was cited and released. He is charged with 1 count of Possession of Marijuana, 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

During a separate investigation, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has completed an investigation into the distribution of Controlled Substances in the Clarkton area of Bladen County. During the investigation, it was determined by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit that the below listed individual was responsible for distributing Controlled Substances.

Agents conducted undercover purchases from the defendant in this investigation where prescription medication was purchased.

At the conclusion of this investigation, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office served arrest warrants on the defendant.  The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Arrested was John C. White IV, 41, of Bladenboro. He is charged with 1 count of Sell/Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substances, 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule III Controlled Substances, 1 count of Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose of Keeping/Selling Controlled Substances His bond was set at $25,000.00.

During a separate investigation, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit has completed an investigation into the distribution of Controlled Substances in the Bladenboro area of Bladen County. During the investigation, it was determined by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit that the below listed individual was responsible for distributing Controlled Substances.

Agents conducted undercover purchases from the defendant in this investigation where Heroin was purchased. At the conclusion of this investigation, the Lumberton Police Department served arrest warrants on the defendant.  The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

Arrested in Robeson County was Allen L. Easton, 55, of Lumberton. He is charged with 1 count of Sell/Deliver Heroin, 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin, 1 count of Manufacturing Heroin, 1 count of Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose of Keeping/Selling Controlled Substances, 1 count of Possession of Heroin. His bond was set at $75,000.00.
