Currie, NC – Moores Creek National Battlefield invites you to join us for a special musical performance by the Fifes and Drums of York Town. The program takes place at 2 pm on Friday July 19 on the traffic island at Moores Creek National Battlefield.

The Fifes and Drums of Yorktown was originally formed in 1976 by the County of York as part of the Bicentennial Celebration of the American Revolution. The Corps continues its mission to preserve and present Revolutionary War era fife and drum music to expose the public to this historically unique and important art form.

Moores Creek National Battlefield is honored to host the Fifes and Drums for a special summer afternoon concert. Make sure to bring a folding chair as well as some water if you are planning on joining us for this event.

The event is FREE and OPEN to the public. For more information on the scheduled programs, please visit our website at www.nps.gov/mocr or on social media at www.facebook.com/moorescreeknps.
