WINNABOW– Kings Mountain defeated Bladen County 13-0 Monday night in the winners’ bracket finale of the North Carolina Dixie Boys Baseball State Tournament.
Tyler Hill connected for the only Bladen hit in the game. “They (Kings Mountain) are nasty,” said Bladen County Coach Les Hill. “They haven’t allowed a run in the tournament.”
Bladen County will play Columbus County Tuesday at 4:30 in an elimination game. A victory would advance the Bladen team to a championship game Wednesday – probably against Kings Mountain.
