Update:
The North Carolina Department of Transportation has amended their updated list of road closings and openings. Faye Boyne with the NC DOT said Center Road is not open as was reported earlier.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated list of road openings and closings in Bladen County. They are as follows:
OPENINGS:
Center Road
Center Road is open.
CLOSINGS:
River Road
River Road will be closed from July 9th at 8 a.m. until July 13th at 5 p.m. The road is closed for cross line repair. There will be a signed detour the closing is between NC53 and Burney Road.
ELWELL FERRY:
Elwell Ferry is open
