The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated listing of road closings in Bladen County. They are as follows:
CLOSINGS:
US701
Lane shift for shoulder closure and to move southbound traffic to northbound bridge for the purpose of debris removal from under the southbound Cape Fear River bridge. 11′ lane restriction is in place in this section. Contractor to remove debris.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS:
Coley Road
Coley Road will close on Monday April 22, 2019 at 8:00 am for cross line repair. The road will remain closed for two weeks through May 03, 2019. There will be no detour.
ELWELL FERRY:
The Ferry remains closed due to high water.
