CLARKTON – Hope Mills defeated Bladen County 16-6 Saturday in the opening round of the North Carolina Dixie Youth Baseball Division 1 State Coach Pitch (AA) Tournament.
Bladen County will play Whiteville at 2 p.m. Sunday in an elimination game. Whiteville lost to Boger City 12-3 in their opening game.
