DUBLIN – West Bladen’s history-making season continued Tuesday as the Lady Knights remained undefeated and advanced to the second round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Dual Team Tennis Play-offs with a 5-1 victory over Wilson Beddingfield.
The Lady Knights are now 17-0 on the season and have reached the final 16 in the state – both are school records. West Bladen will host the winner of the Bartlett Yancey/Washington match in Tuesday’s second round. Bartlett Yancey (17-4) and Washington (8-7) will play today (Wednesday).
