KILL DEVIL HILLS – Top-seeded First Flight built a 5-0 halftime lead en route to a 7-1 victory over East Bladen Tuesday night in the second round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Men’s Soccer Play-offs.

Junior Brooks McGill turned a long pass from sophmore Dan Tatum into the lone Eagle goal in the closing minutes. Sophmore Spencer Scott was credited with 9 saves in goal for East Bladen.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Eagles finished their season with a 15-6-1 record. First Flight advances to the third round with a 17-0-2 record.
