The North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) announced an update to its plan for return-to-play for fall sports Thursday through a memorandum posted on the NCISAA website. Harrells Christian Academy is an NCISAA member.
Fall sports practice for NCISAA members is scheduled to begin Monday, August 10. The Fall acclimatization Policy must be applied, and schools must follow the Universal and Practice/Training minimum standards that have been released to its member schools.
During the week of September 8, scrimmages and games are permitted for low risk sports (cross country, girls tennis, girls golf).
Volleyball, boys soccer and field hockey are considered moderate risk sports and games and scrimmages are permitted for them beginning the week of September 14.
Football is considered a high risk sport and is postponed until at least September 11.
All of the dates listed above are subject to change. Each member school may choose the aforementioned dates or a later time.Share:
