Bladen County Board of Commissioners have meetings with full agendas on Monday, July 9th. The commissioners will discuss many different topics.
Tax matters will start the first discussions. The Special called meeting regarding tax matters will begin at 5:30. There are five requests from property owners on the agenda.
The regular meeting follows, beginning at 6:30pm. The meeting has a large amount of items to cover. Emergency Services will have six items on the agenda to cover which will include consulting services and training information.
Two items on the list are asking the commissioners to consider approving service contracts for the new Detention and Law Enforcement Center. Brady Trane has submitted a proposal for service regarding the center’s HVAC Equipment in the amount of $10,388.00 per year. Champion Systems, Inc. submitted a building maintenance system agreement for the Detention and Law Enforcement Center in the amount of $8,500.
Some of Bladen County Advisory Boards may see new members appointed. There are 15 seats to be discussed and voted on by the commissioners.
Both meetings will be held at the Courthouse, Lower Level, Assembly Room located at 106 East Broad Street, in Elizabethtown.
